The 403rd wing of the US Air Force Reserve 53rd Weather squadron flew reconnaissance missions into Flossie while it was a threat to the Aloha State. The people of the State of Hawaii and the staff of CPHC wish to extend a big Mahalo to those who flew these critical missions, which provided important data in real-time to the forecasters at CPHC.
