We have another chance for snow here in the Raleigh,NC area Friday night and into Saturday. They are saying that this storm looks more impressive that the one today (Thursday). Sure hope they are right, we didn't get anything but rain from this past event, but the rain was surely welcomed.
Hoping for snow!!!!

According to the latest model's runs, yes this storm does look more impressive then the one that moved through the area today. I live in Catawba County where we here in Hickory picked up close to 4" inches of snow from this system.
This next system does look more impressive but the snowfall amounts are going to be hard to predict. Some of the forecast model's are showing 3" + 6" inches and some are leaning more toward 8" + 12" inches here in the Foothills/N. Piedmont. This looks to be more of a Rain/Snow maker for areas around I-95, but with this storm have Cold Air aloft instead of Warm like with this last system it looks like it will be all Snow around this area.
If things keep looking the way they are looking right now I do believe the National Weather Service in Greenville/Spartanburg will issue a " Winter Storm Warning " for here by Friday Morning.

We're sure crossing our fingers in Faynam!
It didn't get above 45 degrees down here today, a good 8 degrees lower that progged.
Been quite a while since we've had a decent snow!
