I thought things were really starting to evolve into linear segments and bows, but there continue to be low topped supercells developing out ahead of the main squall line, particularly in MS and TN (LA and AL eventually).

There are a couple of potent cells in TN: one near Westmoreland, TN and the other to the SW of Nashville, TN (yet again!). The latter one needs to be watched very carefully as it will make a very close pass to the city (perhaps leaning toward the S side of the city).

There is a cell now rotating like gangbusters N of Caledonia heading toward Sulligent, AL. And another one headed toward Ackerman, MS. A warning will likely be issued soon for the cell S of Macon, MS as the doppler velocity couplet has really come up.

Storms stretching from New Orleans to Hattiesburg are also beginning to look somewhat suspicious.

^ I thought it was dying down for a bit and then over the past hour or so things have picked up again.

Tornado Warning SE Choctaw and W Winston until 215 AM. (C Mississippi)

This outbreak has really given us a lot of videos and pictures.

Starkville may be in the line of fire with cell in central MS. May be a rough night around Mississippi State.

Storm SE of Macon is really going crazy right now. Probably a strong tornado assoc with that cell. Couplet also very near Sulligent, though that cell has weakened quite a bit since passing S of the radar.

FOX News is reporting 26 dead, I'm not sure about the accuracy.. but 20+ seems very likely.

Police have shut down Highway 25/Hartsville Pike from Highway 231 through Castalian Springs in Sumner County because "they're finding victims along there," according to information on police scanners. This is from http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll ... S/80206008

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the worst outbreaks of this decade.
