yeah, any basin that relies solely upon the Dvorak (including the East Atlantic), should know that it is subject to large errors.
As for the Indian Ocean... well... I just need to remind everyone that IMD is in charge of the official best track there. That may be subject to 100KT error

Sidr was likely a Category 5 cyclone (SSHS) at its peak intensity. Winds were probably 140 kt.
Based on the T7.2 estimate and similar looks for Atlantic storms, my estimate is 150 kt at peak intensity (although I think it weakened greatly to 115 kt at landfall).
