Whatcha wanna bet that tornado watch gets extended. I wonder if they will let this one expire at 11 and issue a new one for the front....

We have a tornado warning up here in Santa Rosa county.

AT 317 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR ALLENTOWN...OR
ABOUT 24 MILES SOUTH OF BREWTON...MOVING NORTH AT 15 MPH.

THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
BERRYDALE AND 7 MILES WEST OF MUNSON BY 345 PM CST...

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CST TUESDAY EVENING
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA AND NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

Im guessing they will issue a second one until 6-8am.

After looking at the radars, it looks like the last few bands of rain should be out of the Broward County and Miami-Dade County areas within a few hours. What is up for us after that? Have we already gone through the worst part of what is expected for us for the next few days?

Just saw on the news.....tornado touchdown in Cocoa Beach. Damage at a hotel.

Yep, I was posting in a different thread about that. Damaged area is approx 5 miles from my house.

And this isn't the storm they were preparing us for since Sunday... that's still to come overnight.
