The Carolinas were also hit more than people realize in 2004. Alex, Charley, and Gaston ALL had effects on that area. It's only forgotten because of what happened in Florida that year.

Well, I meant it's strength was a fluke. It was highly unlikely that it would become a category 3 at that latitude, but it did.
