Freak rains down here in central Miami-Dade today and yesterday.....some of the showers I saw both days were pretty heavy. Really warm and humid for February.

Magnificent sunset tonight. Glassy altocumulus clouds above altostratus moving in. In between the altocumulus clouds there was a deep blue sky. Closer to the sun the altostratus were a bright pink turning orange and yellow getting closer to the sun. If cameras were as good as eyes, I would have taken a picture, but a picture would have done no justice.

Nice find.. I also noticed This afternoons Tampa AFD mentions the GFS showing a possiblity of strong storms on Sunday as a pocket of cool air in the upper levels comes thru and it looks like a better chance of wed as well.

If there is a lighting strike they will stop the game for 15 minutes...If it continues they they will postpone it till Tue. night...If it is past half time they will call it...

If its just raining cats and dogs they will make them play...Actually its kind of fun to watch them play the mud bowls...

:uarrow: You may get to watch one of those mud bowls today. :D

Only about 1/4" here so far and it looks like most of the nasties are south of me now.
Down to only drizzles now.
