Who has a MySpace? Finally broke down and got one because on of my best friends had one and I wanted to see his online photos.
I did not want one however I do CD reviews and its great for bands. After getting a MySpace I get it and its cool as you will see

I don't, but my kids and my wife do.

I want to know how much of a risk there is for getting viruses, spyware, etc.

All 4 of our computers were acting a little funny. I cleaned up all of them and found an assortment of mal ware. Some trojan downloaders, browser hijackers, and all that.

So I got them cleaned up wednesday morning. I come home from work wednesday afternoon, and there's 4 teenagers on 4 computers, all doing myspace. I chased them all away and scanned the computers again. - One trojan downloader was on one computer.

Another time, the resident scanner caught a virus as someone was on myspace. Right in front of my eyes.

So what's the risk?

Don't have it, don't want it, don't want to spend the time reformatting again because of something virii or trojan, had enough of that when I went to someone's facebook, never again.

Myspace is so 2007 . .. .. . or 2006 (it looks like something from the late '90s) . . ugh, I hate going there (ok, my browser hates it more, I think. It crashes when I'm over there).

I have an account, but haven't updated since I opened it. I spend more time at Facebook (easier on the browser), Pownce, Twitter (mostly following tweets, than twittering; Twitter is IM on crack), and Digg (somewhow dugg up 630+ followers, it becoming rather amusing to see how many I can acquire).

Don't want it either! It would just another website, password, etc. to keep track of. And I have enough of those darn things to remember.....LOL

I don't have one either. My sister has one and insists I get one but my life is already pretty complicated. Besides, I have Facebook, like some others do.

I have facebook too, but i never go on it. I prefer Myspace to facebook.
