For those on the immediate beaches and boaters:
There is a Coastal Flood Watch and a High Surf Advisory out.

Here in Melbourne FL it's been sunny and muggy and windy all morning. You can feel it in the air something is coming. Don't think this daytime heating will help out much in weakening the storms before they get here.

The posts in this forum are NOT official forecast and should not be used as such. They are just the opinion of the poster and may or may not be backed by sound meteorological data. They are NOT endorsed by any professional institution or storm2k.org. For official information, please refer to the NHC and NWS products.

I am trying something new. I am making my own graphical forecasts about this system. If a moderator or admin thinks that this should be moved or should not be posted at all, feel free to move/delete it. So far, I have 2 pictures ready.

My first picture is just a mixture of some satellite pictures from the NHC website and one of the radar images from the Weather Channel.

My second image is my first graphical forecast in a while, and my first not related to hurricanes. I will be making a few more of these through this weather event.

In Leon County, the tornado in the Capitola area has now been confirmed from a National Weather Service Storm Survey. The tornado was an EF-1, on a scale from 0 to 5.

Leon County Sheriff's Deputies say about a half-dozen houses were damaged on White House Road and Capitola Road but unbelievably enough-- no deaths or injuries.

I'm not liking the looks of this line! http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radblast.asp?ID=TBW

I hope it starts to fall apart soon.

*Amateur storm analysis*

There's a weak-moderately strong TVS (large V-pattern) in the thunderstorm west of Homosassa, Fl, still out in the ocean. Hopefully it goes away before it moves onland. Somehow I don't think so.

The storm will move in near Crystal river, FL and affect the Ocala, Fl area (including Belleview) with severe weather moving ENE and then affecting the Flagler, Fl area.
