You can have it now,we've had it since Monday and I'm sick of it! I thought it was going to blow me off the bay bridge on Monday. It's raining now,but the wind finally seems to be dying down.

They nailed the wind advisory today. The adv expired at 8, and since 8 the winds have died down to 15mph.

Very Heavy Thunderstorms- some strong to possibly severe are near
Miami and over south florida. A strong line of storms also extends to
just north of key west.

There could be flooding rain north of key west and in the keys
and also over miami as well as much of south florida

http://www.srh.weather.gov/key

A strong line of storms is also approaching the
tampa bay area. Looking at the velocity radars expect
wind gusts to 40 mph in the heavier thunderstorms
and areas of Flooding where the cells train.

Very Strong thunderstorms nearing Miami and over
most of South Florida, extending back over the keys.

Expect wind gusts of 40 mph and very heavy rain.

wunderground.com/tropical
go to the discussion blog and go to page 4.
You will see a potent spring low pressure area.

You can see a strong baroclinic/cold-front low pressure area-
Quickscat shows thunderstorms producing 30 knot= 35 mph
winds off the southwest coast of florida- just west of naples.
I expect strong thunderstorms to produce 40 mph winds
over much of south florida today.
