Pitch black cloud moving in.

edit: this cloud is amazing. It goes from with, to gray, to pitch black, and off in the distance it looks reddish. Kinda looks like a wave of nightness and water.

Only light to moderate rain- getting light now.
so some rain
but this was primarily a wind and cloud event!
Gusts to 55 mph easily right after I caught that last
photo. Now the wind has come down to
SE 14 mph.

rain has dropped off, mostly pretty light. Conditions are calm. Little wind maybe
a slight SE wind of 5-10 mph

Maximum Conditions from todays storms:
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... ?ID=MERTF1
Tampa: Wind 35 mph, gusts 40 mph

http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... ?ID=MC6730
Tampa near Tampa Bay: Wind 34 mph, Gust 50 mph

http://www.wunderground.com/history/air ... atename=NA
Tampa Knight Airport: Wind 21 mph, Gust 34 mph

Well that does it for an interesting day.
These three links are stations positioned perfectly to capture the
power of strong storms or even tropical cyclones and I will
refer to them this upcoming season. Put them in your favorites.

I am eager to get more storm chasing action on camera tomorrow as well.
Hopefully some more instability so I get to capture these wild cloud formations

This weekend looks like a better rain chance. That cloud that went over tonight was amazing.
