Re: Florida Weather Thread-Summer weather!
Now this just isn't fair! Not only am I not getting any rain - I'm not getting the neat weird clouds either.
Nice cloud pics by the way.

Yes.. conditions are more like June then April and it looks like the rain chances for Central and South Florida will be around through early next week.

Yes,, more convective build up today then Yesterday and some popcorn type convection all ready firing up. Looks like shower/t-storm coverage might be higher today then yesterday.

Could be the Nina making unusual early conditions. The line of convection clouds over the mainland the last fews days was early.

Here's some more for you, this was looking east as the eastcoast seabreeze moving inland started to develop towering cumulus around 2 PM this afternoon, with inland temps in the upper 80s about that time.

Fairly noisy night tonight, with thunderstorms to my west, it sounds like if we were in the middle of the rainy season, not April 3rd.

Nice cloud pics by the way.
Those are classical shelf clouds. They are quite common, and I regularly observe them with SHRA and low-topped thunderstorms during each year. It's always a reminder of the rainy season in southern Florida.

Your photographs are beautiful, Tampa Bay and NDG!
