Marilyn Monroe Sex Tape Sold For $1.5 Million
By: Barbara Sharnak
A New York businessman has reportedly purchased a long-buried sex tape of Marilyn Monroe for $1.5 million. Keya Morgan, a memorabilia collector who discovered the film and brokered its purchase, told the New York Post that the 15 minutes of 16mm footage shows Monroe performing oral sex on an unidentified man. Morgan claims that the buyer plans on keeping the film to himself. "He said, 'I'm not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I'm not going to sell it, out of respect.'"
Morgan says that when the film came to light in the 1960s, then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover futilely tried to prove that the man in the footage was either John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy.
The feds reportedly confiscated the original footage, but an informant made a copy of it, which is what was just sold by his son.
The silent black-and-white film shows Monroe on her knees in front of a man whose face is not in the shot. Morgan, who saw the footage, says that the man never moved into the frame, indicating he knew the camera was there. Monroe doesn't look at the lens.
Morgan, who discovered the film while researching a documentary on Monroe, says he got the deceased informant's name from the former FBI agent who tipped him off to the existence of the tape.
