If the space aliens were to arrive and give us the power to stop storms, that's different....of course we'd accept their gift...we'd have to be insane not too. Of course, I also know that's about as likely to occur as Santa Claus bringing me a weather control machine for Christmas.

LOL... I wouldn't accept it. Mother Nature is Mother Nature and nothing will ever stop that. Why would we? If a Hurricane is coming towards you, board up your house and evacuate if you need too.

If everyone did that, there wouldn't be deaths would there? It's not the weather's fault... it's the people's.

the problem with weather control, you cant predict the consequences. lets say"perfect weather" lenghten the life span. that would cause a much bigger crisis in the ss and medicare system, causing trillions of dollars in economic damage, and huge tax increases. i could think of hundreds of other examples.
