It looks a lot nicer. The change happened less than 2 hours ago because I visited the site and there wasn't any change.

I think the change is good as it'll put all the current storms on one easy to read map with their location readily apparent as other websites also do currently (e.g. weather underground). One of the past complaints was that sometimes important storms got shoveled to the bottom of the webpage when there were more than a few storms going at the same time.

My only worry is that people are going to misinterpret the 2 day development potential probabilities. High is >50%, but will people start interpreting the red shading as a 'danger zone' and not a genesis probability? I think they should remove that from their front page as it isn't essential information and there's still a high degree of uncertainty forecasting genesis despite recent gains of NWP models, especially the ECMWF.

Meh. I'm not that pleased, personally I think it just adds more clutter and makes the page longer.

I like it. Bravo. Cool development potential map. Just my $.02.

I wonder if they'll show projected tracks using this graphic once the season starts?

It looks good but they should maybe add some Lat/Longs on it in the same way the "140 W' is on the bottom image
