You can turn on the fronts to see how extra tropical it is. I say if it starts to drift south there's at least a slim chance of something happening. :)

Isn't this exactly what a noreaster looks like if closer to the coast?

It's in cool water heading toward cooler water. It's not going to develop into anything Tropical or Subtropical.

Except Andrea was further south and was moving south. This is moving NE.

Its a gale center! If convection where to form in or even near the center, with more signs of it detaching from the frontal boundry, then only then we can start having this discussion.

It is now, but, two or three days ago, one of the Professional Meteorolgists agreed (on the other thread) that it had possibilities of becoming something subtropical - at that time...
