:uarrow: Is a big mess there. Water still not warm enough in that area and shear is high.

Probably just a month or so too early for the chances of a system like this to occur.

I think we've had at least 3 or 4 storms already this season that "looked alot like Andrea"

....Conclusion: Andrea had no real business being named in the first place.

Yeah it did. It was clearly subtropical.

There is no question in my eyes that it was subtropical and the recon confirmed it. It had formed much better looking convection then this currently has.

Really when you look at it for a second, convection appears to be near the center, and the system looks pretty well formed for this time of year. Worth watching if nothing else.

Andrea certainly should have been named. As Matt said, recon confirmed everything.

This thing? Not even gale force winds.

Still too early yet, but it had my attention for a day or two.

That looks like a tropical cyclone that has run into a whole bunch of shear and dry air, leaving a remnant low cloud swirl.

Or, it sure doesn't look like a TC, rather, it looks like TC roadkill.

This thing and the words "Tropical Cyclone" shouldn't be in the same sentence.
