Very Cold Today. Highs in the Low 60s with the icy wind coming off the
water. This is very cold for April. That 80 degree water temperature
must be obliterated and down to 65 or less now.

Now predicting 41 for me in the morning.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAMPA BAY RUSKIN FL
801 PM EDT TUE APR 15 2008

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE IS SLOWLY TRACKING EASTWARD ACROSS THE
MIDWEST TOWARD FLORIDA...AS A VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE CENTER SPINS
TO THE NORTHEAST OVER THE GULF STREAM. NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS
HAVE BEGUN TO SLACKEN ACROSS THE AREA AS SUNSET OCCURS...AND THE
SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT SLACKENS SOMEWHAT. AN AREA OF MID CLOUDS
SEEMS POISED TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS EVENING...BEFORE
MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES SETTLE IN OVERNIGHT. THE SLACKENING WINDS...LOW
SURFACE DEWPOINT VALUES...AND CLEAR SKIES WILL SET THE STAGE FOR A
VERY UNSEASONABLY COOL NIGHT ACROSS WEST AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA.
HAVE NUDGED OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES DOWN IN MANY LOCATIONS...WITH A
HANDFUL OF RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE.
ENOUGH SURFACE
GRADIENT EXISTS TO HOLD BACK THE COLDEST OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES
UNTIL JUST BEFORE SUNRISE...WITH TEMPERATURES QUICKLY WARMING
DURING THE MORNING HOURS. ANYONE SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS OVERNIGHT
OR EARLY WEDNESDAY SHOULD EXPECT COLD TEMPERATURES WITH 40S IN
MOST LOCATIONS AND MID 30S FROM HERNANDO COUNTY NORTHWARD. VERY
DRY SURFACE CONDITIONS SHOULD PREVENT FROST. WILL SEND OUT UPDATED
ZONE FORECAST REFLECTING THE COOLER TEMPERATURES EXPECTED
OVERNIGHT AND TO REMOVE MENTION OF THE LAKE WIND ADVISORY. NO
FURTHER UPDATES ARE PLANNED.
