very light rain now, doesnt look like we are going to get more more than a few drops and a few fires from this front.

All we got was .15". Hoping or more tonight - but that may be a bust.

I sure hope no more fires. I really worry this time of year.

Consider yourself lucky if you get some rain.

Nice and warm today, Tampa's Vandenberg Airport
at 88 Degrees right now:

Note it was also 88 Degrees Yesterday. Looks like the sea surface
temperatures are going to crank up.

Very warm and windy with dry air. There is a high fire
danger indeed.
Tampa International Airport hit 87 F, Tampa Vandenberg 88 F.
Sarasota and Fort Myers also hit 88 F.

The wind has come down in Saint Petersburg. This morning
it was sustained near 20 mph with higher gusts but now it
is nearly calm. The wind has been blowing out of the
Southeast, bringing in the warmer air.

***Note: These are Wunderground Station Values- SOME of these stations MAY NOT
be OFFICIAL!!!!****

Hot today:
http://www.wunderground.com/stationmaps ... 90&zoom=10

87-90 F currently over inland South Florida from interior Miami to the Everglades,
and then north towards Moore Haven, near Lake Ockeechobee, if you move
north on the map you find the highest reading of 94 F. So upper 80s to
low 90s across interior south florida right now.

Over Central Florida- mostly mid 80s with a few 91 F readings near Port Charlotte
and South Tampa Currently.
