Whoa! I would never have the nerve to do that myself. My stomach was queasy in a few spots.

Well, I didn't think I was afraid of heights, but I'd have a heart attack on that hike! Did you see how many pieces of that walkway had broken off?

It's really a fascinating place. The walkway was built from 1901-1905, and as you can see is in very bad disrepair. The site has been officially "closed" since 2000 when three people died in an accident, but adventure seekers still find their way onto the walkway.

I'm not generally afraid of heights, but I really don't know if I could complete the hike.

On a lighter note, could you just imagine the attorneys swarming around the place like angry bees if this were in the US?

One word:
MOMMY!

I mean, what, was there THREE sections where the only thing remaining was a BAR?!? Walkways so small you'd have trouble fitting a dog along them?!? HOLES IN THE STONE?!? I'd love to hear the list of people who built it...and how many lived to tell the tale. The only thing I've seen like it in pictures was Malpasset's ruins, and that was small compared to this

What a well-maintained path!

The bits where big chunks have broken away would make for a nervous walk I'd say. After all, somebody broke through each of those places ...

I didn't think I was afraid of heights, and in most cases I'm not since I'm a stagelighting tech, but no way would I go there-lol

As long as I could attach a harness to the line that runs along the side of the trail I'd have little problem. I've been to the top of 1000 foot radio towers with just a harness attaching myself to the tower and had no problem......MGC

The only way I could ever be on that radio tower, harness or no harness is if I was carried up there unconcious and strapped there.
