For the first time in its brief history, the "Storm of the Month" has to be decided in a second round or second election. Remember, there are only three days to make your vote count!

I haven't been thinking about it but if that's the case, then I think both storms should be named "Storm of the Month." I don't see the point of going for a thid election.

Why not just have 2 winners for the month like motm has done? It's ok to have a tie.

I agree, but I also like to have one definite winner but if both weather events continue so close in the elction, I will most likely name both "Storm of the Month."

S2K has issued a statement saying that, even with only two hours left, the race is still impossible to call.

EDIT: 26 hrs...haha, I miscounted days *puts on dunce cap*

Regardless, it is even closer now than it was when I posted that.

This is shaping up like my last local political convention. We had a tie for the third and final delegate so we did a straight up vote for those two...which ended in a tie as well. We decided in on a coin toss.

Well now Neoguri is just ahead but by just 1 vote, this is really tight...I think May however is already in the bag...

Do we get a third round of voting or will the two be declared joint storms of the month?

Also, I think it's time for stricter criteria for the competition. Since it's "storm of the month", things like floods really shouldn't count, only thunderstorm/tornado events and TCs, in my opinion.
