I've been watching the low that's east of the islands for the past 4 hours....boy, do I need to get a life! Looks like it's becoming better organized by the hour. It's 2:15am here and the latest loop is showing dark reds near what might be the center. Again, I'm definitely no expert, but I think we may already have a depression if not a TS on our hands. Should make for some interesting watching over the next few days. Hopefully it'll stay away from the gulf coast!

Thanks for the link and I hope that it steers clear of the Gulf as well. I think you have had enough for awhile.

Definitely worth watching Tim! I think we have a TD on our hands or very close. No LLCC detected yet though so it can't be officially called a tropical cyclone yet. Recon in about 4 hours will give us the real lowdown.
I have just taken another look at the Sat Loop on WV. The system is/will be struggling for a while. It is now being surrounded and slightly entrained by dry air which is cooling the convection buildup that was definitely there earlier. It is very dry to the west of the system so strengthening if any will be slow for a day or two. If it is weak as it gets to the Central Carribean it could get torn apart by shear if the shear doesn't lessen. Another wait and see on our hands!!
