Facebook group

#1 Postby Meso » Fri May 16, 2008 2:59 am

I created a storm2k facebook group (Surely everyone has converted to facebook from myspace to avoid the millions of random adds by now). While I doubt it will distract from the site itself it should provide the opportunity to easily share weather videos and photos and also stay in touch with other members.I was actually surprised there wasn't one already. So feel free to join and add some stuff.

So Myspace is losing it's appeal?

Maybe a victim of its own success.

Apparently Facebook is the popular kid now. Not that I would know. I've never had a Myspace or Facebook account.

You can catch me on Wikipedia though. :D

I guess this makes me an old fart, but I can't see the appeal of either one.

The difference between the 2 is myspace you can make ugly and fill it with glitter stickers and stuff and you have random people adding you.Where as facebook only works on real names,so it's mainly for people who actually want to keep in contact with real people they know, without having 10000 random people add you and without having bulletins sent every 5 seconds and stuff.Basically the more mature version of myspace. It's great to find old school friends and people you haven't been in touch with for ages

Ugh, I'd really rather not join, but this seems kinda cool. I got turned away from all social networking sites by the ungodly awfulness of Myspace.

I'll think about it.

Well, I was just adding people to my facebook friends, but the captcha is having problems, I got a few of you. Ill add the rest that I know when it is fixed. Who is Graham Bishop? Only 9 people have facebooks on s2k?

Edit: just finished the adds.
