Still a wave..though the weather channel and my locals say a TD or TS possible in 36 hours!!!! :wink:

My local met has said that this may be a TD in 24 hours.

They did not find a closed circulation. Therefore no call as a TD or TS. Most seem to be in agreement that we will have TS Clausdette out of this system within the aforementioned 36 hour time frame and I tend to agree. The biggest problem today was too much dry air getting into the system. I think if the disturbance had not encountered the dry air it did today we would already be talking about TS Claudette. As with anything in the tropical realm everything has to be just right for a system to become a tropical cyclone and as always we sit, we watch, we wait and we specualte. Time is my friend, time is my friend, says the disturbance.
