David C better win it!!! He certainly deserves it over DA. IMO, even though he has quite a bit of talent, DA is more fake than anything with his reactions. He has been in this business for 5 or 6 years and I think is willing to act however he has to to win.
Hopefully David C can pull from the Syesha vote(a more mature voter?)to win this!!! I was blown away that he tried out on a whim and was originally supposed to be his brothers support while he tried out.

Even though fantasia didnt sound great tonight, you cant help but love her, she is an amazing person. I just put that song she made famous I BELIEVE onto my ipod !

as for the results, well nothing too surprsing really. I didnt expect anything differently. It has been predicted for weeks, it was just a matter of picking off the other 22 contestants one by one by one every week. good luck to the 2 davids for sure.

Simon talked about fantasia on the Tonight Show tonight and explained the look they showed on camera as a "What the bloody hell is that" look. He also compared the performance to a first round audition.

His Collective Soul performance was the best Idol performance since Katherine McPhee's Over the Rainbow. Don't see eye to eye with the judges.

They both have very different styles. I think DA's voice is beautiful, especially coming from someone so young. DC's niche is definitely along the lines of Collective Soul, etc. I think that they both should get contracts, just like they did with Ruben and Clay. Both have promising careers in their respective styles.

I loved "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" when Clay sang it twice. I loved DA's version of it as well. A little bit of a different take on it, but a lot of emotion and strong vocals.

I just hope DA's Dad doesn't ruin his career for him.
