yes, looks almost like the super outbreak of the 70's but fortunately these storms seem to be more hailers than anything else. The MN storms are producing strong tornados though.

The NE Iowa storm has probably been on the ground for 60 to 65 miles...it seems like a continuous path so far...

This NE Iowa storm has me worried.

That storm is looking like it's going to track over a very popular camping location and with this being the beginning of the camping season around that area, that has me worried.

That would be devastating. Where is this camping location?

Backbone St. Park:

"The modern two-bedroom cabins and renovated one-bedroom cabins are available. There are 125 camp sites located in two campgrounds."

I certainly hope the campground has been evacuated otherwise the consequences would be absolutely devastating given it is Memorial Day weekend.

Just a side note, bring a little happiness among an otherwise dreary day:

PASADENA, Calif. - NASA's Phoenix spacecraft has successfully landed near Mars' north pole for a 90-day digging mission.

Hugo MN, north of Saint Paul, looks to be EF3, WCCO live video, not streaming - dozens of houses just totally blown away, city confirming 1 death, 20 missing, many injured.
