Tragedy Averted at My Hometown's Memorial Day Parade

This gives me the chills. The family involved (including my fmr HS nurse) had moved out of what would become the path of the truck only minutes prior, due to the sun being too intense. If this had happened as the parade was moving past, I shudder to think how bad it would have been. It sure seems like someone was looking out for everyone on this day of memoriam.

"Eric and Diane Bosch took up residence today on the Myrtle Avenue spot where their family had watched the Westport Memorial Day parade for 28 years. A short time after this photo was taken, they decided to move a short distance away because the sun was so strong. Moments later a truck delivering trees rolled down a driveway across the street and smashed into the wrought iron fence where they had been sitting."
