Yep it is interesting though I doubt anything would form from this at this time of year, still a good month too early I suspect, still the ECM does have a decent wave on it which is certainly possible.

Yeah maybe nothing much that another wave ... if this verifies by the models , as a strong wave well organized, but day after day they seem very gorgeous and if this trend amplifies i would pay attention for our first TD at the end of June

So far, conditions seem to be setting up for an early start to the season-much like 2005.I wouldn't be surprised if the first TS came in July

Wow those waves are looking real impressive for the time of year, that looks more like late July than late May to be honest. I'm getting a strong feeling we are going to get quite a powerful cape verde season...

Nope! Many non-2005 years feature an early season TS, followed by tranquility until August/September.

Anyone who throws 2005 around with regularity is incorrect for obvious reasons. It's highly anomalous. I'm not attempting to dissuade you from contributing; I'm merely stating the facts.

Systems that develop far East of the US, while having more time to intensify, also have more time to find a trough and recurve.

A busy CV season doesn't have to be a busy North American season.

I'm seeing that more then one model continue to show something coming off Africa and becoming a TC. I don't remember seeing that type of thing in the models during late May before.

Yeah thats true though its still probably a little soon for development in the E/C.Atlanic regions. However its not surprising that the ECM showed such a sharp wave in the central Atlantic on its run yesterday and its not surprising some models try and develop it, its a hefty wave!
