Toni - 574 wrote:Finally able to sit down and try to catch up on what has been going on today. Looks like 95L,TD or TS fizzled a little today! Man, it looked like a sure thing last night and I was convienced that It would be named soon. Looks like it is trying to hold itself together this evening, and if it perks up over night who knows. But you know what they say about the E. Carib. so it's going to have to hold itself together somewhat until it gets to the other side, or it is really going to go to the other side,(if you know what I mean).Haven't been able to see much recon data, so let me ask a question here. What coordinates did they investigate today? Could it possibly be that they just did not look in the right place? I mean, I'm sure this has happened before. I know this is a long shot thought but could it be possible? Any comments appreciated!

Actually a good question to ask Toni. The answer is yes they were in the right place. I followed them all the way in from Biloxi as the recons came in. They hit it at the right place IMO. As noted in other posts some of the convection you noted out ahead of the disturbance is actually being kicked up by the ULL ahead of it.
