Once she enters the GOM - where she enters is going to be a determing factor. My wildhair guess

Corpus Christi Tx to Pensacola, FL

You guys how do I know where this one is going? I really wanted to say Yucatan Pensula to Pensacola FL - but thought that would be too much ground LOL.

Can a GOM storm be a fish and no one gets hit?

:-)

The Florida Panhandle...a wild guess from a newbie
Figured it was time I stopped lurking on here and in chat and make myself known. Live in Chicago now but spent 2 years in NC and survived Floyd and the great flood cleanup it left behind. Hope to get to know you all better!

P.S. I'm the typo queen..apologies in advance..can I blame it on pregnancy hormones? LOL

The high has shifted a tad to the west, currently over the Florida panhandle toward Mobile, Alabama. It went up from 1023 to 1025 millibars in the last six hours.

It would make sense that the cold front over the Northern Plains, which is currently stationary, will move south and east in turn pushing the high eastward.

I have to say that as it looks right now Louisiana may be the target.
