Subtropical Storm off New Zealand?

Looks great and convection has flared up near the center in the past hour.

Looks interesting, but SSTs are around 20ºC.

Not as impressive as the subtropical cyclone that developed in this area last week. This one seems more frontal and has less intense convection, though.

Definitely nowhere near as impressive as last week's. An interesting feature that shouldn't last very long.

Definitely not as good looking as last week's cyclone, which had convection fully around the centre (see my avatar).
