We got hammered in the wee hours. I'm gonna guess at the time cause I was sleeping
maybe around 1-1:30 it started, lost power about 1:30ish and it came back on about an hour later.
2.2" in the gauge this morning. Wasn't expecting that at all!

Although rain chances are looking good for the coming week....and it can quickly go from too dry to too wet...we have only seen 0.46" of rain in Fort Lauderdale for the first 2 weeks of June...to put that in climatological perspective, the average monthly rainfall for June is 9.89"...or almost 1/3 of an inch a day!!!

It is thundering loud over here, and the radar is showing a storm headed towards Plantation. This is the begening of what should be a long few days.
