Charlie Crist just signed a law that will make going to Cuba $700 per person. We are 4 in my family, which means it will be $2800 just to get the ticket to go to Cuba. That's not counting any other airport expenses or regulations. For most Cuban families it's almost impossible to pay that.
My family went to the Dominican Republic on 2006 for 7 days, 6 nights, all expenses paid (airport, food, stay, concents, etc) for only $2800.

How does a state governor/government set the price of travel? Or do you mean some kind of exit fee?
