When I try to pull up the NWS Tampa site all I get is their header and a box that says
"Can not connect to Database Server".

Currently using Weather Underground radar.

*edit - whatever it was - they fixed it.

4.5 inches so far today and more on the way here in Northern Pasco County. We have a beautiful double rainbow right now with loud thunder boomers in the distance.

I went for a power walk this morning between 6:30 and 7:30 AM and some light rain fell. Afterwards there was a rainbow in the sky.

Sometimes too much S2K leaves a mark in your body!!!

Got hit about as hard as I did yesterday with out the wind. I barely squeezed mowing in just before it rained. It was getting very high, and I had a tough time doing it.

Dang! All we have had so far is the thunder and lightning. Very little rain - haven't checked the rain gauge recently but I would guess less than 1/4".

Weird the last two days. Lots of lightning but very little rain. 3/10 yesterday and just over 1/10 today so far. Just to the north and south of us they have had 2 - 4 inches! Lucky dogs!

You could tell a completely different weather pattern than we have seen was ushered in to South Florida today....a few clouds in the morning yielded to something we have not seen in ages....a mostly sunny afternoon. Hardly any clouds. Boy was that sun hot!!!

More bleep'n SAL, and another hellish week.

I know SOMEONE around here is getting rain, but for me, in my localized area, this is the driest rainy season I've seen in a long time.

That's the case here in Fort Lauderdale as well...since June 1, the airport has had 4.55" of rain which is over 7.5" below normal for the same period (normal since June 1 = 12.11").

The next two days will be pretty dry, and without the clouds and rain...it will be hot!! 92-96 in the bay area, and a muggy mid 90's. I know where ill be tomorrow....in the pool!

Global warming will make it drought-like in some areas but very rainy in others. It's all about extremes and there is nothing anyone can do :-(
