If this wobble is something more than no..If it's just a wobble I say probably. I just go by what the "experts say" Though from what I read it may be more so I voted no!! Time will tell :o

5 days out? Nope, I don't think it will go exactly where they say.

She's not in the GOM yet - anything can happen once she cross mexico - so my vote of no was recorded.

I think it will basically go where they say it's going now. Between upper Mexico and lower Texas and if it is at all off then I say central Texas coast.

I think people are being a little too over confident with the models, I mean it's still 5 days out! I won't trust any of them until she's in the gulf and then we'll see what will really happen.

I agree. It at least seems that the confidence level with Claudette as been for a landfall across Texas. Very well indeed could happen, but there are a lot of variables involved with this system, not to mention all tropical systems.

Claudette has not finished throwing her curve balls yet! IMO......I don't think she is going where the models are currently pointing, I think the models will gradually shift north as the days progress.......I am stocking up on coffee, because I think I am gonna need it!

Kelly - I am plotting her and I saw that and noticed it was due NORTH.

Yeah James - what if it doesn't - what happens next? More questions with no answers.

This morning, I was thinking that the center may miss the Yucatan peninsula.

As of 2:00 PM Eastern/1:00 PM Central, the center of Tropical Storm Claudette was approximately 265 miles SE of Cancun, Mexico.

We have to remember that the error in the models is hundreds of miles potentially. We just have to keep on the track and look to the models for suggestions of where Claudette will be in 72. I like watching the difference in the various model runs to determine track changes...
