Just a reminder

#1 Postby Rainband » Thu Jul 10, 2003 2:12 pm

While we are all still wondering where Claudette will make landfall. ... now is a good time to get your Disaster kit in order..It doesn't matter if Claudette doesn't come your way. :o This is only July..as I said in my article..getting prepared early is key. Go to the link in Weather central..all the info is there http://storm2k.org/Weather-Central/Nati ... nePrep.htm If you are prepared now..it will make it a little easier if Tropical Trouble heads your way later. Just a suggestion. On behalf of all the Staff of STORM2K...Stay SAFE!!!! GOD SPEED!!! :)

Sincerely

Going to Sam's tonight and getting list of things to do ready - just in case she does come anywhere near me.

Good post Rainband.

Heck, I am still stockpiled from Izzy.

Another reminder is for pet owners. Be sure you make arrangements for your pets well being. If you have horses be sure they are tagged in case they get lost. Same goes with all livestock, including cattle.

Great thread Johnathan! I think the mods ought to also make sure the emergency contact list is updated and any newcomers added if they want to! I thought that was an excellent idea when S2K put it together and we may very well be getting ready to use it for some of our friends along the GC!
