claudette getting hit with shear

for the second day the ull has not weakened as forecast. i have found ull's and shear are more persistent than forecast

Center looks to be reforming around 20 miles further north than it was 2 hours ago .

Shear is always a factor in any tropical system rainstorm. Claudette has proved that she can survive it. I don't see any deadly shear ahead of her - the ULL - been hampering her some - but not much else.

I assumed this was because we had a storm..but clearwater didn't is the high still in place??? :roll: Just wondering :o

i am not sure there is a center at this time. the shear is very strong. at least it slowed down
