It's hot! Sitting on the balcony overlooking bourbon st. watching some kids tap dance with beercans on their tennis shoes. Some marching band a block down from us. Did i mention it's hot? MsRobi showed up! Going to give sunny a call shortly.

Ha! what fun! some convention people i guess it was just had their own miniparade with a marching band and all that. Then some guys down on the street tried to get us to come have a drink with them. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I wish I visited New Orleans before Katrina. Working at the Showboat in Atlantic City which is Mardi Gras themed makes me really want to go there. It really sounds like a blast! :D

Becareful and have a great time! :D

I visited New Orleans/Bourbon Street a couple of times when I was living/working near Lafayette. Amazing how much warmer and more humid it is there at night than Lafayette, at the same latitude and probably not more than 150 miles away. Spent almost two weeks in early Summer of 2000 filling in for someone on vacation, staying in the Holiday Inn one block off Bourbon. Never drove my car, office was three blocks away, but they were charging $25 night for parking. Halliburton was paying, so it was ok.

Haven't been there since Katrina, however.

Bre, i've got 1/4 of a muffalotto and i'll share an artichoke with you. Central grocery is closed on sundays and when i was there on saturday they were out of artichokes. They had me go a couple of doors down to Franks. This artichoke is humongous.

Mary, I had a wonderful time with you. You and the girls are something else. I laughed and enjoyed myself so much.

Sunny, sorry we didn't get together but i enjoyed talking to you on the phone as i sat out on my balcony.

Hey Mama!! It was really great talking to you, too :)

Sorry we didn't make it. My guy's brother and his brand new girl-friend got into a fender bender. Nothing serious thankfully but the gf was kind of shook up.
