OK, the results are in...conjunctivitis in both eyes (have antibiotic eye drops for that), plus sinusitis (got samples of Allegra for that). Total cost...$65.00 for the doctor visit.

I should be back to my mean, old nasty self in about ten days. :o

That's great news Bill. You're still in my prayers. I'll tell ya what, between the prayers and some of these women on storm 2k who want to light a fire under someone at your house ------------ you are in very good hands my friend!!!

((Hugs)) to you

Bill, I know you are miserable, but I'm extremely thankful it's no more serious than it is.

I was hoping it was pinkeye....because there were some other far more serious problems with similar symptoms as you described (a brain tumor being one).

I'm also keeping you in my prayers....for comfort and a speedy recovery. :)

May God bless,
Perry

Ah, yes...but the look on "her" face when she handed over the checkbook...priceless!

Imagine taking a super-size lollipop from a three-year-old, and you have SOME idea...

Glad to hear that it's nothing serious.

Needed medical care has to come first, before rent, utility bills, and even food. I've been there and done that many times. We've had many a meal of macaroni and cheese with hot dogs.
Deprivation will go away with the next paycheck. Health problems may not.

Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious, as well, Bill. Great that you got the proper medical care you deserved.

Bill...you did several really good things today.

First, you thought of yourself...and took care of yourself. That is not only an appropriate thing to do...but a deserved one as well. If you need additional help on medical concerns...get it. You years of despair need to end....one step at a time. Today's visit to the Doc was a real step.

Your value to others is real...and as such you need to keep on grabbing for your future...again in little steps as the opportunities come.

Hang on to Shelley's warm words and wonderful thoughts. They are no less meaningful and helpful without her in the room, than they were when she was.

Mostly...never, ever look at yourself as defeated. Fight the shackles of the past and instead concentrate on the new opportunities that come your way. They are ALL significant.
