Looks to me like a landfall near the High Island to Crystal Beach area.

Dont know how many times we have said this...but according to everything that is not happening...it is not going North into LA... this storm is headed just east of Galveston...

High Island is about 20 mins or so east from the Bolivar Ferry...Sabine Pass is east down old Hwy 87 from High Island...All in the SP & HI about the same vicinity IMHO.

Don't watch the center which has no constant shape and plays tricks on the eyes watch the far west bands progression.

Considering Ed is going to hit from the SE I think he would get most of Galveston.

it seems like once again Vermillion and Cameron parishes are getting the worst of this, even though they arent even the landfall point.

Looks like he's trying to wrap some deeper convection around the south of center.
