When it hits 40 ace it will tie the 1997 season. So much for being a huge ace season. It would need to have some really powerful storms or 30 more like this to make the top ten. It is looking less likely.

I've been away the past few days. Here's my ACE Calcs spreadsheet for Fay as of 17/2100z, with a new feature taken from RL3AO's images (hope you don't mind):
