No part of this post is due to wishing, it is just observations

Honeyko your persistence is admirable and also
informative. If this does stall and the trough miss it,
I think there is a small chance of development.
It may then go out to sea (NE) or go West depending
on the synoptics and depending on how long it stalls.

If you're hoping for a harmless fish-storm, the one thing you don't want to see develop is a southwest low-level inflow jet draped over the thermonuclear heat-content of the southwestern Bahamas and Florida Straits. (Katrina's originating swirl over the Bahamas developed one of those, and the extreme instability sucked the mid-level circulation toward it in a sharp 90-degree left-angle departure from models projecting a NW run up central FL.)

Another thing fish-storm lovers wouldn't want to see is for the ULL to become vertically-stacked with the LLC (fair chance this is happening this afternoon); this would eliminate shear and enable convective towers to rise up and exhaust at a higher altitude than the ULL itself.

So, eyeballs peeled this afternoon. The stronger the convection over Eleuthera becomes, the less likely the LLC is to boogie NE.

2000Z Center-fix: LLC is directly over Dunmore Town, essentially stationary. A mid-level circulation may develop to the south, in the CB clump currently feeding off a 120-degree angle worth of NW/W/SW/S surface convergence.

It looked like it had everything going for it this afternoon, but then Big Daddy Subsidence snuck up behind it and put a plastic bag over its head around 4PM. Poor thing is now suffocating.

Whorl will probably be gone in the morning.

(If so, it'll be the first time I've seen a closed LLC make it into the Bahamas at this time of year and not re-develop. ...that is some bad-ass cap out there....)
