... to borrow a favorite line from the old 1950's b/w sci-fi classics.
It's strange how nearly two months can fly by! I've stopped by S2K to catch up silently off and on since last May. My job has been encroaching on much of my free time, which I've been saying for the past two years. The up side is that I can truly appreciate vacation these days! This June's trip was a cruise to Bermuda out of Baltimore.
My only news is very thrilling for me: I'm going to be a grammie for the first time! My (only) daughter's baby is due in early January. Next week's ultrasound may reveal the gender. She, her husband, and their sweetie-patootie Soft-coated Wheaton terrier live in Vero Beach, about 75 minutes north of here.
I'll be visiting the boards here more frequently, especially as the hurricane season picks up. We're off to SE Arizona for a family wedding Friday, and I'm keeping an eye on the two Atlantic disturbances.
Positive thoughts to you all!

Congrats to you! Your mom-to-be must be in the morning-sickness stage. But that should pass soon (unless it's twins).
