Now it is moving west at 8 mph and tropical storm watches may be required for the Mexican/south texas coast early sunday.

Thanks...I didn't know it was moving west, I thought it was moving north according to most people here.

I have been watching the slow westward movement of Claudette. I believe most of us see it... we all see the north-northeastward to northeastward movement of the convection, which is not the center of the storm.

We have been getting rain on the MS Coast this morning. Local met. says this is due to feederbands from Claudette.
