Comparison Images - Saturday & Sunday w/700mb Flow

Today's 15Z Satellite with 700mb streamlines:

Yesterday's 18Z Satellite with 700mb streamlines:

Note that the 700mb high axis has extended east along the Gulf coast, cutting off any chance of a northerly motion. Also note how similar the storm looked 24hrs ago. That southerly feeder band is back, and the center is back under (or near) the heavier convection.

But on the last few images I'm seeing convection drop off near the center, and I can now just about see the northeastern edge of the center.
