Sending prayers heavenward...

Steve, Bill thanks for keeping us posted, send them our thoughts, prayers and love...

*hugs* to you Karan, you keep at Dennis to leave if it comes to that, I'm backing you, but you know him and Michelle, they'll stay and lend a hand, even if it puts them in the hot zone, it's just how God made them, their gift to mankind...the ones that will stay and make sure everybody else is safe.God covers those kinds of folks with special protection, bolstered by our prayers sent to Him for our friends they are covered. If you don't mind I'll give you a call later on tonight..

Blessings to all, Raine

I just talked with Michelle and she said Dennis would be on line tonight. He'll give all the details.

This was reported in your newspaper, Dennis and Michelle. Now it's in black and white, WE HAVE PROOF. "Town resident Michelle also said she was making preparations to leave and making repeated calls to the Bureau of Indian Affairs headquarters in Whiteriver to get the latest updates on the fire's movement." Michelle, you said it, you've got to go if it comes right down to it!!!!!!! I know, I know, you'll be safe.

Stay safe my friends.

I only have about 2 minutes to stay online but as Karan said, we were interviewed by the Az Republic last night, with us being the SAR coordinators for the White Mountain Apace Tribe, they are using us for info as well as our dear friend Jim Paxon, here's the link to the article. Before I post it, a little update.......sounds like the mandatory evac orders are coming out at 2000 hrs MST...........we have heavy ash falling, some smoldering as they hit the ground.......in the words of Jim Paxon and yes....he said I may qoute him "This fire WILL be the fire of all fires, the loss that is going to result from this fire is going to be of biblical proportions!" end quote......enough said

Whatever you and Michelle decide, please be aware that you are covered in the mantle of praise and intercession from all of us...and some you have never heard of!

Let us know where you are, what you're doing, when you can...even if through "intermediaries" if a PC is unavailable.

No manditory evac as of yet, it's 1.2 miles from the *triggerpoint*, which has been changed.....this fire is moving SOOOOOOOO damn fast, even under the cover of darkness.....in less than 2 hours (since my last post 1915 hrs) it's now at 5920 acres and STILL making an upslope run. DJ'S *buddy* Larry Humphreys in now on scene, JERK!

Anyways......ol snowmans dead folks, went to bed at 0030 hrs this morning, up at 0345 and have been on the run ALL day................"that is all!"

Here's the latest as of 0450 MST.........The Gov. has activated the Az National Guard this early a.m. and have been sent to Pinetop, Lakeside, Hondah and McNary, according to the CBS affiliate in Phoenix, they are on their way this morning to help with the ecavuations again.

The Kinishba Fire is now at 6250+ acres, night time temps stayed up, RH values are LOW......the warmest night yet here in Pinetop, at 0450 it's 73°, RH 23%. I would suspect the reason for the warm night..........the smoke, the smoke this morning is beyond comprehension, almost unbearable, the sun is just now coming up and the whole sky is orange with smoke, I've got heavy ash fall once again.

I will be out till around 1300 hrs......unless the call for evacuation comes across.

Dennis

BTW........Bill, Steve, DJ.....Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your phone calls and updates, I really appreciate that, ONE day.......we ALL have to sit down, share a beer, a cuppa Joe.

Warm nights indeed for Arizona. My low was 88...many places above 90 here in the Valley. Our heat is feeding the conditions for your fire.

I'll leave the calling up to you this day...if you get a minute to check in or want a message posted. Otherwise keep your focus on yourselves and those around you.

When the Front Porch is threatened, those of us who share it with you stand right here beside you and Michelle.

Well folks....we've been activated, no definite time set but non the less, the evac is now on the horizon. We have not 1, 2 but 3 plumes, one rising to over 46K and no shear...PC'S rising off the N-E-S flanks.

NOW, we have 3 MORE confirmed fires, all near Show Low :grr: The work of a confirmed arsonist, can you believe this STUPID S.O.B :grr: :grr: :grr: general thoughts amongst the law enforcement community, a resident of either Linden, Chenney Ranch, Timberland Acres.......someone who lost everything last year and has nuthin' to loose! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS BULL :grr:

I will be offline for sometime, out of contact on the cell phone, land line also, our area of duty is out of cell phone contact, I will post when we're relieved of duty. Pray my friends, pray!

WE HAVE A NEW FIRE........JUST A HOP, SKIP AND A JUMP FROM THE HOUSE! I've sent some of you photos of the Sky Crane cruising directly over the house, this fire is a result of the collapsing Pyro, it created a MONSTER fire storm and flung hot embers over 2 miles away...........this IS the last post, we're outta here, prelim mandatory evac underway in about 2 hours, we're on road block duty today, tonight!

Dennis... do you have "fire breaks" at or near your home? I do not know how they work but was told by a firefighter friend of mine they sometimes save property and LIVES!!

Stay safe Dennis and know that we are all worried and we all feel helpless. But will continue praying that the fire will be contained soon.
