From that radar a few posts back, it seems like it's already going due north but it looks form nne on satellite though

thought that too awhile back, but I'm no longer convinced. The bigger "eye", if you can call it that, doesn't have enough integrity to prevent inflow from reached the smaller core inside, and that core's backside eyewall cells have been increasing in intensity over the last hour.

Is it possible that the trough leaves Fay off the coast of Florida and the high pushes Fay down to the south?

Frank - you are so right about Isadore. I'm sure you recognize these places. And this was as the storm was winding down!! Remember, Treasure Bay got the doo doo knocked out of 'em... I also remember all the baby least terns dead all along the sea wall - sad sight...

I think fay is on a whirlwind vacation, just stops to look around from time to time...
That or She's trying out for the first red spot on Earth, or even Jupiter...
As for the drinking, I have been doing that, and if this keeps up I'm going to need a much bigger monitor, or new glasses....

Izzy was a fun storm, remember it well... Treasure Bay got pounded... nice pixs Ixoilb... sat out in my front yard on the beach in a lawn chair enjoying the 50 plus mph winds and watch the Collesium pier wash up in front of my house... awesome experience... exept when the Biloxi police wanted to arrest me, for sitting in my lawn chair during the TS.. that was really funny...

I have suddenly become more skeptical of westward tracks, for the following reason: http://adds.aviationweather.gov/satelli ... g&itype=wv

The Texas cut-off low is getting bigger and moving southeast.

This is insanity. There is absolutely NO way that wasn't at the VERY LEAST 90 mph over land looking at that loop. And that does look like an EWRC over water, but for obvious reasons I have doubts. Even if land is getting to her head though it doesn't matter as she's only a few hours away from water where I'm almost certain she'll become a hurricane.

She is about 15 miles or so from going into the water.
