System around 25 W most impressive...

#1 Postby drezee » Tue Jul 15, 2003 8:20 pm

I am thinking that this will start looking really good in about 72-96 hours. This will be a tropical Cyclone....

Remember, this is only July. Imagine what August could be like, and then, of course there's SEPTEMBER!

I disagree. This disturbance that will likely become Danny has to be watched carefully and IMO certainly has a chance to affect the U.S.

Guys, face it it's a fish, a trough is coming straight at it. The only question is will it be a little fishie or a big fishie? I'm thinking little fishie.

The latest steering pattern a bit northwest of Tropical Depression #5 is southwesterly, a change from yesterday.

Looks like I was wrong on this one. Shame on me for believing Danny would be something other than a fish storm. He may become a minimal cat 1 hurricane before getting into colder waters.

The forecast model guidance currently has Danny moving more interestingly than they did 24 hours ago. The southeastward movement may eventually lead to a due southerly movement next week.
