Seems like llc is being pulled into the CDO (Mid-level center) if this happens and shear relaxes we are in for a big hurricane.

I don't think this system is any more sheared than it was several hours ago. I think the LLC was always exposed; it is simply easier to see now that the visible is up and clear. If anything, the deep convection is trying to expand westward to cover the LLC. In any case, if the shear relaxes a little, this should deepen.

:uarrow:

The ULL is keeping the depression in check at the moment but what is going to happen is the ULL is going to drift south, Hanna will gradually move towards the WNW and the ULL is going to create Easterly upper-level winds as it sits south of Hanna. To the north, once the trough pulls out (its far north of Hanna) then ridging builds in in the Western Atlantic (something we have not seen much this summer) and so upper-level winds become very good for intensification. They will be out of the east but that is a very favorable direction for cyclone development in the Atlantic basin.

Closer look to the semi-exposed center.

I know the NHC weren't really mentioning the Campeche system, but it looks good.
