This is just momentary, once Gustav encounters the ridge we should see a more NW track through the Gulf.

And I wish people here in Pensacola would actually look at the track, most of the gas pumps here are out of gas. :roll:

12z GFS, 60 hr, shortly after landfall ... looks like landfall just west of NOLA and edging west

Seems awful fast to get there... it would need to speed up quite a bit to make that projection

Thanks Ed. Thinking we might be heading to Austin as well, but still not sure yet. Got everything packed, just need to load which I have most of the day to do. My dilemna is that if the City of New Orleans does +/- okay, but the Bayou does not, then I'm homeless. Again. :D Not too many homeless bankers around, but heh. If both the City and Bayou get destroyed, then it's off to Montgomery in a week or two and just playing around the country with my kids between now and then. Peace.
